The ACME’s automatic, self-cleaning strainers are used for water and wastewater treatment applications where the removal of suspended solids is critical for the protection of downstream equipment. Our scraper-strainer design effectively cleans under high solids loading and low-pressure conditions which backwash strainers cannot handle and subsequently clog up, requiring manual cleaning. ACME’s strainers are custom manufactured for each application to ensure a successful project. ACME is now capable of producing complete skid packages including pumps, controls, additional filtration products such as cartridge filters and all associated piping in its own ASME U-Stamp approved facility. We also offer process heating products, and gas and particulate detection equipment for environmental monitoring and control
