Our History Timeline

Founded in 2008 by Steve Wilde, American Amplifier Technologies (AAT) began alongside SWE Services.

In 2019, AAT expanded its capabilities through the acquisition of Mauna Towers, which operates broadcast tower facilities across Hawaii and Arizona. 

In 2023, AAT further strengthened its market presence by acquiring Shively Labs, a name synonymous with high-performance FM antennas and filters designed for some of the world’s most demanding environments, including Mount Washington, NH. 

In September 2025, AAT broadened its RF portfolio adding Kathrein Broadcast USA (Kathrein-Scala) furthering our mission to provide complete, end-to-end RF system solutions for broadcasters worldwide.
