Bulwark’s electron beam technology offers a powerful new way of inactivating bacteria for autogenous vaccine production in poultry operations. Unlike other inactivation methods, e-beams inactivate bacteria without damaging the surface proteins, allowing the treated birds to develop a more robust immune response.

Our first goal is treating bacterial lameness in broilers, and we are currently looking for commercial trial partners for an inactivated Staph vaccine for BCO lameness. But we aren’t stopping with lameness. We want to perfect an autogenous vaccine for a wide array of bacteria, including Salmonella and other burdensome pathogens.
