SealScope® – 100% in-line inspection for flexible packaging  

 is an in-line, non-destructive seal inspection and process monitoring technology for flexible packages such as pouches, flow wraps, VFFS bags, etc.  Via sensors mounted on the sealing jaws, SealScope® detects product in seal, wrinkles and tapered seals. It also issues early warnings for process drifts enabling preventive machine maintenance. HyperScope – 100% seal inspection of rigid trays, pots and thermoforms

Engilico® presents its latest rigid tray inspection solutions: HyperScope® uses hyperspectral imaging (HSI) technology to detect contamination in the seal of plastic or cardboard trays with a much higher contrast than standard vision cameras. Even with printed plastic foils -when contamination is hardly visible for traditional vision-based systems- seal contamination can be detected by a hyperspectral camera. The latest  in-machine HyperScope version is mounted above the packaging line, and offers numerous advantages, including eliminating the need for additional space in the packaging line, eliminating the need for extra conveyors, and promptly identifying defective packages immediately after sealing, when packages are still ideally shaped and positioned. Typical applications are in-line inspection of thermoforms, trays or pots with meat, fish, cheese and vegetables.
