Enspired Solutions has developed and manufactures a novel technology that destroys per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in water on site. We are a women-owned remediation company headquartered in Lansing, Michigan. Our USEPA-award winning technology for PFAS destruction uses non-pressurized, non-thermal equipment to destroy PFAS in water using photo-activated reductive defluorination (PRD). PFASigator™ is our complete solution including equipment, reagents, and patented chemistry. Enspired Solutions was established in July 2021 by Denise Kay, PhD, and Meng Wang, PhD, MBA, PE. Dr. Kay is an environmental expert with 20+ years of experience. Dr. Wang has 10+ years of experience in engineering and business innovations. Today, Enspired has 12 employees supporting research & development, technology optimization, customer service, operations, and business planning.
Enspired Solutions’ PRD technology is based on published and patented chemistry. Since 2019, Drs. Kay and Wang have been testing this chemistry on a variety of environmental and concentrate samples of PFAS. Since 2021, our work has been funded by the Department of Defense; Bureau of Reclamation; multiple domestic and international municipal, industrial, commercial and engineering companies; and investors. In 2023, we completed a commercial-scale pilot test of PFASigator™ by treating foam fractionate generated from groundwater at an industrial facility.
