We started Hella Dac Biet Foods in 2022 to fill the gap in Southeast Asian American food representation. Our founder, Joe Ngo, was born and raised in San Jose, where backyard BBQs brought cultures together through food. It was in those moments that fusion dishes like birria pho and lemongrass pork tortas were born — food that celebrated community, creativity, and shared flavor.
