In 1953,  “Bob” and Helen Hoffer set out to create a business focused on service, putting customers, employees and the community first.  Over 70 years later, it turns out they were right. 

Since then, Hoffer Plastics has become an innovative leader in the injection molding industry.  We employ over 350 people in our 365,000-square-foot facility, producing over three billion plastic parts annually. We have a consistent 99% on-time delivery record and have pioneered numerous product innovations, including the Trust-T-Lok™ line of closures for flexible pouch packages. We’re proud to have received numerous awards, including “Family Business of the Year,” Plastics News â€œProcessor of the Year” the Illinois Governor’s Sustainability Award, the 2022 Plastics News Sustained Excellence Award and the 2024 Industry Week “Best Plants” Award.  We are MedAccred approved. We have a longstanding legacy of sustainability leadership and service to our community, through the Hoffer Foundation and many other philanthropic initiatives.  

Today, we remain family owned and operated, financially stable, and growing. Second generation William Hoffer is Chairman of the Board; and third generation family members Gretchen Hoffer Farb, Charlotte Hoffer Canning, and Alex Hoffer are co-leading the company.   We are committed to going “All In” for people, plastics and purpose, and living our founder’s values of Family, Integrity, Service and Trust.
