Kohoku Kogyo manufactures and supplies PCF preforms and multi-core fiber preforms (cladding) made with SSG® (Slurry Cast Silica Glass). SSG® offers properties equivalent to OH-free synthetic silica glass. Our unique slurry-casting method enables highly flexible design options. We also provide lenses made from SSG®, including complex-shaped lenses.
