Overview
Maxim’s Group Italy was founded in 1989 by Maximiliano Ciucciomei in Castelfidardo (AN), the historic heart of accordion manufacturing worldwide. Since its foundation, the company has pursued a clear mission: to preserve, revive, and elevate the great Italian accordion-making tradition through quality, innovation, and artistic vision.
Maxim’s Group Italy is the owner and manufacturer of four historic brands that have shaped the history of the accordion: Settimio Soprani (1885), Sonola (1896), Crucianelli (1885), and Frontalini (1923). These legendary names represent more than a century of craftsmanship, innovation, and musical culture, and today they continue to live on through modern instruments proudly made in Italy.
The identity of Maxim’s Group Italy is built on strong values such as sound quality, craftsmanship, reliability, and musical emotion. Each accordion is carefully handcrafted using selected materials and advanced technical solutions, ensuring outstanding performance and expressive power. The company’s instruments are designed to meet the needs of professional musicians, educators, and passionate players across the globe.
Over the years, Maxim’s Group Italy has developed prestigious collaborations with some of the most important artists on the international music scene, establishing a direct connection between the workshop and the world’s major stages. Among these renowned artists are Richard Galliano, Pietro Adragna, Juan Villareal, Marito Aguilar, and many others. These collaborations play a fundamental role in the continuous development of innovative, high-performance instruments tailored to modern musical demands.
Maxim’s Group Italy has also distinguished itself strongly in the Mexican market, becoming a leading reference in the Tex-Mex accordion sector. Through constant innovation, superior build quality, and a deep understanding of Tex-Mex musical culture, the company has successfully redefined standards in this genre. This approach has led to the creation of an unprecedented international community of customers, musicians, and artists, a unique network built on trust, passion, and shared musical identity.
With a clear international vision, Maxim’s Group Italy exports its instruments throughout Europe, the Americas, and Asia, promoting not only Italian-made accordions but also a culture rooted in tradition, creativity, and continuous evolution.
Today, Maxim’s Group Italy stands as a bridge between tradition and the future of the accordion, preserving the legacy of Castelfidardo while pushing the boundaries of sound, innovation, and artistic expression—always placing music and musicians at the center of its philosophy.
