Overview
Nextera Video and Adeas provide a complete, industry-leading solution that enables OEMs to IP-enable new or existing products quickly and efficiently. The integrated platform combines IPMX/ST 2110/ST 2059 FPGA IP cores with NMOS control software, along with reference designs that include all required drivers and daemons, a simple control API, and an intuitive web GUI. Design services are also available to help resource-constrained teams accelerate time to market.
The Nextera-Adeas HDMI IPMX TX/RX IP Reference Design is now IPMX Certified, after passing rigorous testing at the inaugural certification event on February in Geneva. This proven foundation allows Broadcast and ProAV manufacturers to confidently develop interoperable, IPMX-certified AV-over-IP products.
New for NAB 2026:
Universal IPMX/ST 2110 Transmitter and Receiver supports compressed and uncompressed HD and 4K formats at 50 Hz, 59.94 Hz, and beyond, and incorporates NMOS IS-11 for stream compatibility.
Recent IPMX core advancements include support for compact, cost-effective FPGAs such as AMD Zynq 7030 SoCs and Altera Agilex 5, full integration of intoPIX JPEG XS with TicoXS FIP, and implementation of the Privacy Encryption Protocol (PEP) based on VSF TR-10-13 for enhanced media security.
New NMOS software cores include Secure NMOS (BCP-003-01) and IS-11 Stream Compatibility, required for IPMX badging.Â
