The Poultry Diagnostic and Research Center (PDRC), which is part of the College of Veterinary Medicine Department of Population Health, is dedicated to the advancement of poultry medicine throughout our state, nation, and world. The PDRC offers a traditional master’s degree program (Master of Avian Medicine), a completely online master’s degree program (Master of Avian Health and Medicine), and participates in the college-wide Comparative Biomedical Sciences graduate program. These unique programs prepare veterinarians to be leaders in the poultry industry locally, nationally, and worldwide. The Diagnostic Services and Teaching Laboratory supports the poultry industry worldwide by providing testing and technical assistance, developing new methodologies, procedures, and technologies, and providing clinicians for diagnostic purposes.
