I’m Liddy Romero – 4th generation baker and entrepreneur and Latina-owner of Romero Mexican Wedding Cookies. We small-batch bake three types of Mexican cookies , beautifully packaged in vintage tins and ready to be gifted or for your gathering table. We are the first of its kind to bring you these cherished cookies – shipped across the U.S. and in an elevated presentation – worthy of the most elegant occasions!
Our Romero baking tradition started in 1946 in South Texas. My great-grandparents bakery burned down to be rebuilt from the ashes. The phoenix in my logo honors the resilience of that generation as well as my own story of resilience, rebirth , and return to my roots. I love sharing what has been such a central part of my life. Memories of childhood, holiday traditions, and baking in the kitchen with our favorite people can now be experienced again through our cookies. I’m proud to bring these cookies to every table where culture and connection matter.
