TriOrb is a Japanese robotics startup specializing in autonomous mobility. Founded in 2023, we develop ball-driven, omnidirectional mobile robots to redefine mobility on the factory floor and to transform fixed production systems.

Our patented drive mechanism enables millimeter-level precision, compact design for tight spaces, 800 kg payload capacity, step-over ability, and multi-robot coordination. Seamless integration with mobile manipulators and production equipment enables flexible and reconfigurable manufacturing environments – “Mobility as Manufacturing Infrastructure”.

In Japan, our customers include major Japanese automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and other industrial manufacturers.

TriOrb US was recently established in February 2026 and is located in the Newlab Accelerator in downtown Detroit. TriOrb is looking to expand in the North American market through PoC projects and strategic partnerships.
