Established in 2005 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, UNELSYS began its journey as a Substation Secondary Engineering Design Services provider, offering comprehensive design, integration, and testing services for substation protection, automation and control systems. In its early years, the company supported utility customers across Latin America, the Middle East and key markets in the United States, including New York State, providing highly specialized engineering and onsite field testing services for substation primary equipment.
Driven by the growing demand for high-quality protection and automation solutions, UNELSYS expanded from engineering services into advanced panel manufacturing and assembly. Today, the company operates a fully equipped facility that supports end-to-end engineering, fabrication, wiring, integration, and testing—enabling UNELSYS to deliver turnkey secondary systems that meet stringent utility standards.
