Velodyne Space is developing a Magnetic Electric Launch (MEL) system capable of launching payload carrying projectiles into space. Velodyne Space is also utilizing MEL technology for counter-UAS protection of airports, open sports stadiums, government facilities, nuclear facilities, high-value target facilities.
